About Us

My aim as an Instructor is to inspire more people, to be more active, more often.  Nordic walking is a fun, safe and sociable way to improve your health, fitness and Wellbeing and I am passionate about encouraging more people to include physical activity into their weekly routine.
Exercise should be fun and enjoyable whilst you are achieving your personal fitness and Wellbeing goals.  As a mum of twins I really understand the many barriers there can be to becoming more active.  It is always a balancing act with our fast paced modern lifestyles and this is why I believe that exercise should be fun, effective and achievable.

I have had a very interesting and varied NHS career (Assistant Business Manager in Orthopaedics / PA to Trauma Surgeon / Commissioning Manager please feel free to ask me more!) During this time I worked closely with the Public Health Team and gained an RSPH (Royal Society for Public Health) Certificate in Understanding Health Improvement.  I have seen the real cost to peoples health through being inactive, from patients wishing to remain more independent and those wanting to improve their health in general. Nordic Walking is a fantastic way to lose weight, get fit and have fun!  I love being outdoors and exercising in the health club without walls is simply the best way to improve your health and wellbeing.  Come and join in the fun!
